Gloria's - It's Where You Get Your Rodeo On

As you may have heard, we’re opening a Houston location in Spring of 2012. It will be located at 2616 Louisiana Street, Suite 101. Just on the outskirts of downtown, we are looking forward to assimilating into this beautiful city.

As our excitement grows, we have started to become aware of some of the events that this city has to offer. One event that seemed particularly exciting was the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. As far as we can tell, this show and rodeo is huge! Spanning from Feb. 28 – March 18, it featured tons of contests, a rodeo, livestock and horse shows, and of course live music from Artists such as Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, The Zac Brown Band, Alan Jackson and others!

We can’t wait to take in a livestock show and rodeo such as this one! We’re sure that in the future, Houstonites will love to end a long day at the rodeo with a journey to our restaurant for some award winning margaritas, our world famous black bean dip, and of course that Salvadorian food we are famous for.

Just picture it: you’ve spent all day enjoying the rodeo and are looking to unwind. Imagine yourself stopping into Gloria’s and starting off with chips/salsa/bean dip coupled with ceviche. Add a cold margarita or beer to the mix and dive in to one of our delectable entrees such as Churrasco Tipico or Camarones a la Plancha and then capping it all off with chocolate flan. The perfect meal to end a perfect day!

We can’t contain our excitement to become part of this wonderful city. Houston, we’re on our way…and we hope you brought your appetite for gourmet Salvadorian cuisine!
