Gloria’s Restaurants – Houston Here We Come

As Gloria’s Restaurant continues to expand across the great state of Texas, we wanted to take a moment to remind you that Gloria’s will be opening our 14th location in the spring of 2012. The newest Gloria’s restaurant will be opened in the city of Houston. Located on 2616 Louisiana Street Suite 101, it will be in close proximity to the hustle and bustle of downtown and the city center.

All the things you love about Gloria’s will be prevalent in our new Houston location. From the elegant, modern, refined atmosphere to authentic Tex-Mex and Salvadorian dishes to our award winning Margaritas and black bean dip. Of course, don’t forget the salsa dancing and sultry Latin atmosphere that Gloria’s has become synonymous for.

Check back often, as we will keep you updated on the exact date of our grand opening. We are very excited to be joining the Houston community, and look forward to becoming Houston’s choice for gourmet Latin and Salvadorian food, drinks, and dancing!

  2. This is Midtown - I'm sorry but on a day like today...it's 95 degrees outside, I'm going to have to report this as Blog abuse ;) We really, really need a fabulous Gloria's Margarita today. Please come to Midtown as soon as you can. An entire neighborhood is waiting for you. Thank you, Cynthia Alvarado, Managing Director - Midtown

  3. I heard a lot of good things about this place, but when I finally went it was the worst place and service ever. I had called during the week to reserve a table and they said no tables were to be reserved on Friday's and Saturdays that it was first come first serve. We maded it at 7:45 and they took almost 2 hrs to sit us down, then we could not even finish the meal, because they had to remove the tables. When we saw there were tables reserved (after they did not take the reservation over the phone) they said it was all reserved. There was a table that was empty all night with no people. Then it was so packed you could not even dance, (fire harzard) the bar was so full it was hard to order drinks. We finally decided that it was not worth it and left. At the door they only had one door open for people to come in and for people to leave (which is a fire hazard as well). I will not go again, and or recommend it to anyone.

    1. To add to this, we went to celebrate a family members birthday party after asking the server over 4-5 times to bring us a cake to sing Happy Birthday, he NEVER brought it. All the servers were worried about was kicking us out of the table without us even finishing our meals. It is RIDICULOUS when after 11pm there are NO servers around and to get to the bar it takes more than 5-7 minutes. After spending over $300 on our table all we received back from restaurant is an extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL service. On a side note, if you decide to sit people where the dancing area is going to be make sure you don't sit them at 10pm and expect them to leave at 10:45pm. I had such a bad experience that I will NOT recommend this place to anyone. I seriously rather eat fast food. Thanks for a horrible experience.
