Gloria's Voted Best Margarita In Dallas 2010

The Dallas Observer voted Gloria's Restaurants Margaritas the Best Margarita for 2010 in Dallas.

"Choosing a margarita isn't as easy as you'd think. If we're gonna pull the trigger, rest assured it won't be for some overpriced Slurpee with a shot of tequila. Gloria's not only has the best-priced margaritas in the city at only three bucks, but at 11 ounces, they don't skimp you on size. They also pour in enough Manik tequila to give them just the right kick, and their ice-to-margarita ratio is both spot-on and consistent. Atmosphere counts too, so it helps that Gloria's has some of the best Mexican food in town. After all, why wouldn't you want to keep down all those $3 margaritas with some enchiladas verdes?" -The Dallas Observer-

Southern Cuisine and Culture

What Does Latin American Food, Mexican Food, Salvadorian Food, and Tex Mex Dishes all have in common? They are all offer wonderful dishes and recipes, culture, and entertainment. You can find different variants of all your favorite flavors, spices, recipes and traditions deep in the heart of the south. While American culture may not fully grasp the traditional recipes of Latin American Countries, you can bet that Southern States will do their best to produce wonder dishes that resemble the mouth watering dishes of Latin culture. The great thing about Texas is that many restaurants will try to implement different flavors from each country to exceed the expectations of all taste buds. The combination then results in Tex Mex Restaurants.
Popular Tex Mex Dishes include famous taco dinners with beef, shredded chicken tostadas, served with lettuce, queso fresco, sour cream and guacamole as well as Tostada Dinners, Chicken Flautas, Burrito Dinners, Enchilada Dinners, Tamales, Taco Salads, and of course the famous Chimichanga. Many Mexican Restaurants in Texas serve traditional appetizers such as Ceviche, Ceviche Tostadas, Shrimp Cocktail, Shrimp Nachos, bean and cheese nachos, chili, chips and salsa, and Pupusas which are handmade corn tortillas stuffed with cheese and pork. Many people may order a cup of Black Bean Soup or Chicken Enchilada Soup before their meal. No matter what you order, you know will be blown away from the wonderful aroma and send your taste buds for a wonderful spicy, mouth watering journey through Latin Cuisine.
Before you judge the south for their attempt to emulate Latin Culture and Cuisine, come try Gloria’s Latin American Restaurant to see if they can prove your judgment wrong. There are many similar restaurants but Gloria’s grasps the importance of taste, service, and entertainment. There are many choices and options for evening dinning but when you combine the friendliness of the south with the culture of Latin America, you are bound to find an evening of wonderful dining, dancing, and entertainment. The great thing about Tex Mex Restaurants is that the portions are always bigger then you could ever imagine. As the famous sang goes, “Everything is Bigger in Texas.” I hope that many of you will read this and come visit the south and grab a taste of culture served up with southern style.
